ABC-123 – School Uniform Recycling project
Recycled school uniforms that children have outgrown or no longer need. We launder them and re-sell them for a small fee to families who are struggling with the cost of school uniforms, thus allowing them to use what little money they have on food and other essential items. click here to read more information
Only Girls Allowed project
Weekly ladies support group open to all ages. For ladies who feel isolated or lonely, or ladies who just want to meet others to chat and make new friends, in the community and or who suffer from anxiety and depression. Ladies meet on a weekly basis for tea, coffee and a chat. Activities and trips will be organised by the ladies themselves supported by volunteers and once a month we go out for lunch which is optional
Green Monkey Purple Banana – Clothing and Promotional Products enterprise
A new enterprise which produces branded and personalised clothing and promotional products. From t-shirts for hen and stag nights, to one off design to branded workwear. Mugs, tote bags, coasters, mouse mats and lots more all at reasonable prices. All income generated goes towards to fund the charitable projects we run.
Women into Work:
Training, advice and support to help women get into the workplace. Personal Development and Confidence Building workshops covering employment skills, interview techniques, how to present for an interview, “dress for success” ending with a makeover. Work clothes also available for a small donation to ensure the women are happy with their appearance.
Knit and Stitch:
Weekly knitting and crocheting group for women of all age groups, where women can share their skills with those who are unable to knit or crotchet. Over time the women will be encouraged to make garments and items to sell and generate income for them to purchase more materials for the group.
